Hello, I’m Ricardo!
I do stuff for Spotify, software engineering, recruitment and lecturing here and there. I’m always moving back and forth, but you’ll find me in Stockholm most of the time.
I also run getGears, which is working behind the curtains to roll out some interesting concepts in the near future, stay tuned.
I enjoy moving around and love that my career allows me to do so. In the past, I’ve worked for Flumotion in Barcelona and before that for GuestCentric in Lisbon, in my home country Portugal.
I try to stay within the Open Source world and attend as many conferences as I can. My programming language of choice is Python, I use VIM to do all my coding and you’ll probably find me with a MacBook Pro, which I believe is a cool host for my Debian VM’s.
I am very enthusiastic about what I do and you will often find me talking business, corporations, architecture or maybe some algorithm I’m thinking of.
